PUSH HANDS LEVEL ONE WORKSHOP
Saturday March 14th 2009 from 10 AM to 1 PM
Learn the basic techniques that have helped Arthur and his students win four national push hands championships.
Push hands is a two person interactive exercise that develops sensitivity, strength, and strategy.All martial artists can benefit from learning push hands. Push hands is also an excellent exercise for couples or families to practice because it reflects on a physical level what is going on interpersonally which can be of great assistance in conflict resolution.
Arthur Goodridge, founder of Moving Together, will lead this workshop. Arthur has been teaching Tai Chi Chuan, Chi Kung and other martial arts for over thirty-five years. He is a certified psychotherapist, Cranio-sacral therapist and yoga teacher. Arthur is also a writer and composer.
Place: St. John's Episcopal Church 74 Pleasant Street Arlington.
Pleasant Street is Rte 60. The church is two blocks W of Mass Ave outside of Arlington Center. Use the side entrance to the left of the church as you face it.
